Our journey began at the Virginia Commonwealth University’s Da Vinci Center, where a team of graduates from the esteemed Master’s in Product Innovation (MPI) program converged with a shared passion for transformative healthcare education. Equipped with diverse expertise spanning design thinking, project management methodologies like SCRUM, and a multitude of interdisciplinary skills, we embarked on a mission to revolutionize not just dental education but healthcare education at large.

Initially presented with a challenge by the VCU School of Dentistry, we embraced the opportunity to redefine industry standards with a comprehensive vision that transcended traditional boundaries. Beyond addressing the shortage of existing dental simulation shrouds, our focus expanded to encompass a broader spectrum of healthcare education needs—encompassing functionality, user experience, durability, and scalability across various disciplines.

Guided by the rigorous standards of the MPI program, our journey unfolded through exhaustive research, iterative prototyping, and unwavering dedication to excellence. This culminated in the development of an innovative dental simulation mask that served as a cornerstone of our broader mission as a healthcare education innovation company.

Supported by the Da Vinci Center and the generosity of donors, our venture evolved into a dynamic startup enterprise poised to transform healthcare education on a global scale. As recent graduates and seasoned professionals—led by Alana (CEO), Perry (CPO), and Jameira (CFO)—we remain committed to pioneering solutions that transcend industry norms and reshape the future of healthcare education.
